success, and they are: Ray Scherr, Larry Thomas, and Marty Albertson. All

various contributions fueled the Guitar Center’s expansion.

From 1999 to 2003, Guitar Center tripled its size by opening seventy new
retail stores. In the past years, it has acquired several business
establishments as well, including Musician’s Friend and American Music
Group.

The Guitar Center is considered as the nation’s leader when it comes to
musical instruments. Its retail outlets are still growing in numbers and
their quest is to ‘help people make music’. It is further believed that
